I am happy to provide a letter of reference for Mike Turk who acted as my real estate agent in charge of selling my house in the summer 2015. Initially I have listed with propertyguys.com but my house was& not selling for several months. Mike offered me his services and although I was initially reluctant to list with an agent ultimately I was very happy to have taken this route; it was certainly worth every penny.
Mike and his team re-staged the house, re-branded the offering on MLS, and co-ordinated price reduction designed to elicit multiple offers. As a result, my house received high potential buyer interest with over 50 visits in about a week which Mike was handling, and was sold within ten days. Prior to working with Michael, I listed with another agent, for "reduced fee" reasons. But that was a big mistake. I let this first agent go after only 2 weeks due to non-performance. (I'm now a believer in "you get what you pay for" - at least when it comes to house selling.)
In any event, I couldn't believe the difference once Michael took over. Michael's MLS house pictures and descriptions were much superior over the old listing. In addition he arranged for some kind of mailing (I think 500 letters) that went throughout the neighbourhood. He also printed up pretty classy handout brochures that incorporated house/yard pictures, a floor plan, a list of neighbourhood schools, house details, etc. He put ads in the local neighbour papers. He even arranged for a "stager" walk through my house. (I didn't use him, but acted upon many of his verbal suggestions that were relevant to my situation.) At the open house events, Michael engaged the visitors talking up the house. (Always dressed up in a suit and tie I might add.)
Bottom line, he did an absolutely fantastic job. Through his efforts I received a number of offers. It was Michael's plan to list at 699K, and accept offers on a later date to encourage competition. Using that strategy I know I got the highest price possible. And yes - I was very pleased with the 729K figure.
So that's my honest opinion. He knows the business inside out and he's aggressive - yet professional. I'm happy to recommend him to you.
